Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

The candidate is expected to perform basic data ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) tasks – starting with extraction of data from the source systems, cleaning it, handling exceptions and finally prepare them to feed into various systems/tools depending on the projects/PODs/delivery channels.
Testing and validation of data models/data tables/data assets
The role also requires the person to understand the data thoroughly and draw business insights which needs to be shared with various business stakeholders for informed decision making/process improvement.
Facilitate and manage regular meetings with senior managers, key stakeholders, subject matter experts and delivery partners to reach targeted milestones on time.
The candidate needs to be really flexible in their approach and to be ready to understand ever changing business scenarios and cater to the dynamic requirements in a smart and prompt manner
Driving automation efforts across multiple reports/processes, understanding the gap in the process and eventually driving a project to move away from tactical solutions and adopt more strategic way of delivering reports and insights.
Adherence to controls and governance is must while dealing with the data.
The candidate must understand the basic risks arising from managing sensitive banking data and act accordingly to manage the risks in their everyday life at work.
Completion of mandatory trainings on time and be self-motivated to take up ample training opportunities the bank provides to upskill oneself for future of work.
The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
