Job Description
The team is looking for an Advanced Marketing Analytics Specialist with a passion for data and analytics, an eye for detail, and the ability to assess the big picture. The person will play a crucial role in driving our marketing efforts through advanced analytics, extracting valuable insights from large volumes of data, and communicating relevant triggers, and strategies for effective decision-making.
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the US and worldwide, and familiarizing oneself with United’s and the Sales department’s primary objectives, are essential. This role will require diligence, thoroughness, and a desire to improve and grow with the team.
Utilize your analytical and problem-solving skills to extract meaningful insights from data supporting our marketing objectives, promoting growth, and enhancing customer experiences.
Apply intermediate machine learning algorithms to enhance database segmentation, marketing attribution, campaign ROI, and other related areas.
Oversee the analysis of large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can shape effective marketing strategies and tactics.
Communicate findings to our marketing and executive leadership teams, providing actionable recommendations that align with our business goals.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product, and IT, to integrate and leverage analytics throughout the organization.
Drive continuous improvement with the latest industry trends and innovations in data science and marketing analytics, incorporating successful methods into our organization.
Create and maintain documentation as required for the process, ensure compliance with respective business processes through robust controls, and communicate to all relevant parties as per the underlying business processes
Eligibility
Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of relevant design experience
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in a data analyst role focusing on marketing analytics.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Must be competent in querying and manipulating relational databases via Teradata SQL assistant, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle SQL Developer
Must be familiar with one or more reporting tools- Power BI, Qliksense, Tableau
Must be detail-oriented, thorough, and analytical with a desire for continuous improvements
Must be adept at juggling several projects and initiatives simultaneously through appropriate prioritization
Preferred
Master's degree
Hands-on knowledge of PowerBI, SQL
Experience working in Aviation, Transportation, or Hospitality industry
Proficiency in at least one quantitative analysis tool- Python/R
