Job Description
Lead and manage a small team of data scientists and analysts, ensuring high-quality project delivery.
Work with large datasets to extract, clean, and analyze complex data, identifying trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems, optimizing processes and improving decision-making.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data-driven strategies and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
Manage SQL databases and write complex queries to extract and manipulate data for analysis.
Design and implement data pipelines, automating repetitive tasks and improving data workflows.
Present findings and insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and fintech, continuously improving processes and methodologies.
Contribute to the growth and development of junior team members through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
Eligibility
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
4-5 years of hands-on experience in data science, with a proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions.
Strong proficiency in Python and its libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.).
Expertise in SQL and database management (writing complex queries, data manipulation, etc.).
Experience with machine learning algorithms, data modeling, and statistical analysis.
Strong understanding of data visualization tools and techniques.
Proven ability to manage and mentor a small team of data scientists or analysts.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in the fintech industry or financial services.
Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
Knowledge of advanced machine learning techniques, such as deep learning or natural language processing (NLP).
Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
